The Pryor Group has the experience and expertise to reclaim and transform derelict brownfield land into prime agricultural and recreational areas or for retail development.
The Group takes a professional and proactive approach to environmental issues. Much of the work involves careful environmental management, taking into account archaeological considerations, existing vegetation and future landscaping requirements.
Two of our construction projects, Lakeside and Bluewater retail parks, were originally quarries. The Ingrebourne Valley Park, which the Group transformed into a multi-purpose public environmental area for local recreation, involved extensive landfill and restoration.
The Group acted as main contractor in partnership with local government to transform a brownfield site into the award-winning Northala Fields Park. Opened to the public in Spring 2008, this area of natural beauty has been branded as one of the most exciting and significant park developments in London for many years.

An excellent example of the Pryor Group’s strength in restoration and reclamation can be seen at the award-winning Northala Fields Park in North London, where the Group was Main Contractor in partnership with the London Borough of Ealing.
This ground-breaking development has had a major impact on local residents, providing a diverse selection of leisure facilities and combining flora and fauna into an area of natural beauty.
Waste from the original Wembley Stadium and the White City Shopping Centre was imported into the site to create four large earth mounds, which shield the park from the busy A40.
