Reservoir, Lake and Pond Construction

The Pryor Group offers clients a wide range of services in the construction, management and conservation of reservoirs, lagoons and similar structures. From design to final handover, we can transform a brownfield site into an area of outstanding natural beauty or provide a source of water for irrigation purposes where there is presently none available.

Reservoirs

The Group has created many reservoirs of varying sizes and designs. Reservoir creation may involve sunken or raised earthworks, in which the Group is one of the leading specialists in the UK. Depending on the application required, specialist liners are used: geo-synthetic clay (GCL), HDPE, or Butyl. We are able to deliver the product efficiently and within a short timeframe.

Lakes

From the creation of a new lake, which could be part of a larger project, to the rejuvenation of an existing lake, the Group is an ideal choice to deliver a first class environmentally acceptable solution. We have the knowledge to handle all manner of problems and conservation issues, including de-silting, which may require specialist remediation processes, special treatment of reed beds, sedge and rushes and draining and preservation of fish stocks.

Other services include dam construction for water retention, permanent and temporary access tracks and the installation of drainage channels, piped culverts, sluice gates and chambers. Whatever your requirements in the construction of large water features, The Pryor Group has the answer.
