Health and Safety are always a priority. We are committed
to protecting the health and safety of our employees and anyone
who may be affected by our works.
Pryor has an exemplary safety record which is achieved without
complacency. Safety is ingrained in our company. We are members
of RoSPA and take a very proactive approach to safety, employing
our own Safety Manager, Safety Trainer, and an independent
safety consultant who all actively work to prevent accidents.
We are accredited by City and Guilds to carry out NVQ assessments
in specialised plant and machine operations and to train and
assess to the CITB's intermediate construction certificate.
Our Training and Development Manager can therefore ensure
all personnel are trained to a high standard of competence.
We have a Company Safety Committee which meets regularly
to consider safety issues and practices. All levels of the
company are represented, with 50% of the committee elected
by the workforce which helps to ensure full co-operation and
co-ordination on matters of health and safety.
The Pryor Health and Safety Department also offers its services
to customers outside the Pryor Group. |
